We purchased an amazon fire tablet for the coffee table We intended to use it for convenience, like look up who the secretary of state was under the clinton administration The chronic problem we are having is, whenever we open the silk browser we are bombarded with adult content and gimmicks Tab after tab opens with.
No picture or full screen option on video via silk browser on firestick 2nd gen Trying to watch videoes on silk browser on 2nd gen firestick but when videos playback theres sound but just a black screen, also no option to watch video in full screen. Unfortunately, there isn't an option in the silk browser settings to adjust this I'd welcome you to share feedback on this with our fire tv team, however You can do this from your fire tv stick 4k max directly, go to settings > help > feedback. You can manage settings for all sites or for individual sites.
@ajay v (amazon staff) i have tried system update this way, is there a different way to specifically update just the silk browser
I am having issues trying to get signed in to espn, continue to get a blank white screen with “ottssocompanionapp” and never do make it to the typical sign in page with a username and password, just blanks screen. The main two apps it is not working in are silk and downloader I have tried clearing data and cache I have unplugged the fire stick and left it off over night
I have restart it in settings I have factory reset the fire stick as well I am not sure what else to try Thanks in advance for the help!
